Dissolve 23g in one liter distilled water. Heat solution to boiling with continuous stirring for one minute. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes. Mix medium with gentle agitation to avoid bubbles prior to pouring plates. Store at room temperature.

Tryptic Soy Broth with 1% Polysorbate 80 (TSB w/T) with a septum cap is a non-selective and non-differential general growth medium used in for the detection and recovery of microorganisms, particularly in the presence of antimicrobial agents. The addition of Polysorbate 80 (Tween 80) serves as a neutralizer, inactivating residual disinfectants or preservatives that could otherwise inhibit microbial growth. This formulation is frequently employed in sterility testing, environmental monitoring, disinfectant efficacy studies, and microbial limits testing of non-sterile products to ensure accurate detection of contaminants.• Product base meets AOAC, BAM, EP, ISO, SM-Dairy, SMWW, USDA, and USP-NF reference methods and performance criteria.• TSB should be used by trained professionals within a laboratory setting. • Product is not intended for use in the diagnosis or treatment of disease or other human conditions.• Septum Cap

Terrific Broth (Auto-Induction Medium) is a dehydrated powder for the preparation of Terrific Broth without trace elements. This medium is supplemented with glucose and alpha lactose for the auto induction of protein expression under the control of IPTG-inducible promoters in E. coli. The Auto-Induction Medium (AIM) provides an efficient means of protein expression that requires far less attention by the user than conventional IPTG induction. With the Auto-Induction Medium, it is no longer necessary to monitor cell density and to add IPTG at the proper stage, as the medium contains an optimized ratio of glucose and alpha lactose as carbon sources. This system offers unmatched convenience and simplifies manual or automatic induction and analysis of multiple clones compared to conventional IPTG induction. One 500g bottle prepares 9L.
